Amitabh Bachchan began his film career in 1969 as a voice narrator in Mrinal Sen’s film Bhuvan Shome. He gained popularity in the early 1970s with films like Anand, Zanjeer, and Roti Kapada Aur Makaan. Dubbed as India’s “Angry Young Man,” he became a dominant figure in the Indian film industry during the 1970s and 1980s.
